Board Meetings

We usually have our Board Meetings on the first Monday of the month at 6:00 pm.  Everyone is welcome.

Click on the button above for a look at all our old videos. It's a trip down memory lane.

When we have space available, we take people off our waitlist on a first-come, first-serve basis. Siblings of students already enrolled go to the top of the waitlist.  Students who are currently enrolled in or who reside within the elementary school attendance area of the Public elementary school (Pacific Union) in which Laurel Tree Charter is located also receive preference in admissions. These students receive two tickets for the lottery, increasing their chances of being earlier on the list.   We hold a lottery twice a year with the pre-enrollment forms.  We add the names to our waitlist in the order they were drawn from the lottery.  Your student’s name remains on the waitlist until we have space for you.  We call everyone on the waitlist in June to let them know whether they have a space for the following year.   Click here to download the pre-enrollment forms, or pick them up in our office.

We invite parents and their students to come and observe at the school and fill out a pre-enrollment form.  This is not required, but we recommend you spend time here to make sure it's a good fit for you and your student.

Our Local Control Accountability Plan outlines our long-term plans and goals. We review it every year to see how we're doing and we add new goals (and subtract old ones) as needed.  This year we'll be sharing the plan and getting parent input on it at each of our five Potluck and Performance Community Events.  Click this button to see the summary of the plan, or here to see the whole hundred and seven page document.

At the end of each of our seven-week sessions of Laurel Tree Wild, we gather as a community to share food and celebrate our students' accomplishments.   There is a performance by the Theater group, art on display from Elemental Art, pictures and products from Community Classes, Edible Education and Watershed Explorers.  We also use this time to share information on our LCAP, gather input from parents, and stay connected as a community.  Click on the button to see dates, times and location for this year's Potluck and Performance.
